The National Pipeline Advisory Group (NPAG) on Thursday opened the response period for its national pipeline survey and its survey for college students, which will shape profession-wide efforts to address the accounting talent shortage.
The NPAG survey has two versions, depending on respondents’ current role.
The student survey was developed for current accounting and business students, aiming to garner their perspective on the education and early-career landscape of the profession.
The national survey is open to the full accounting profession, including CPAs, accounting and finance professionals, educators, association members, state regulators, and other stakeholders.
Answers and personal information will remain anonymous and confidential. Results will help NPAG prioritize and refine a holistic pipeline strategy, which is scheduled to be published in July.
