Excel: A quick way to copy the number in a cell that is immediately above the cell you’re in: Press Ctrl+” (that’s Ctrl plus the quote mark, which means you have to hold down the Shift key as well). That also copies the number’s formatting.
Word: To format (bold, underline, italicize, etc.) many different words scattered throughout a document, hold down the Ctrl key and highlight each word. Then, when you apply the formatting, all the highlighted words will be identically formatted. It works in all editions of Word.
Office 2003: To move a toolbar button in any of the Office apps, hold down the Alt key and drag the button to the new location.
