Two years ago, Jennifer Wilson struck a nerve with an article about dealing with dysfunctional people at work. Unfortunately, dysfunction isn’t disappearing. So we asked Wilson, a partner and co-founder of ConvergenceCoaching LLC, for more advice on how to best approach dysfunctional work situations. The conversation was in June at AICPA ENGAGE.
What you’ll learn from this episode:
- Why some people are afraid to speak up about dysfunction at work.
- One reason sentiment about workplace dysfunction may be changing.
- The approach to take in documenting the details of perceived dysfunction.
- Why professionals should carefully consider telling co-workers about on-the-job conflict.
