For the first time, a participant in the AICPA and CIMA’s U.S. Registered Apprenticeship Program has achieved joint first place on the CGMA Management Case Study Exam.
Caitlin Domina, financial analyst–FP&A at Liberty Bank, tied for the highest score during the November 2025 testing window alongside Samuel Enright and Emily Rinaldi of the United Kingdom. During the window, one of four each year, 2,519 students sat for the exam.
Domina is part of the U.S. Registered Apprenticeship Program, an initiative started by the AICPA and CIMA in 2022 to expand access to careers in accounting and finance through competency-based apprenticeships.
“We are incredibly proud of Caitlin’s achievement,” Paul Young, CPA, CGMA, CFO at Liberty Bank, said in a news release. “Her commitment to excellence, continuous learning, and leadership through the Registered Apprenticeship Program embodies the values we strive for at Liberty Bank.”
The CGMA qualification, established in 2012, is designed to ensure relevance with employers and equip candidates with essential business, digital, people, and leadership skills to thrive in today’s fast-evolving finance landscape.
