One-time, annual license fee of $395, which includes service & delivery, will be charged to customers opting to prepare returns on a REP (pay-per-return) basis only. Customers with any unlimited Federal license can prepare alternate returns on a REP basis without paying the $395 license fee.

New features added to your software for this year:

Large expansion for the number of business states practitioners will be able to file, including federal fiduciary returns. Planned additions include:

Changes for e-filing:

  • Unlimited individual e-filing will be included as an option with a Lacerte 1040 Unlimited license.
  • If a tax professional is preparing more than 200 individual Federal or State returns, he or she will save even more money by upgrading to Lacerte 1040 Unlimited with Unlimited e-file.
  • Intuit will provide free training as well as help new preparers get an IRS-issued EF IN.


Intuit is adding several new features, based on client feedback.

 

  • 1041 Client Organizer
    • Helps tax professionals easily gather documents and information from clients, saving time and reducing errors when preparing 1041 returns.
  • Lacerte 2010 will include single member LLC in certain 1040 states, plus many more regional forms.
  • Extension Memo will practitioners easily keep track of extension payments.
  • ProForma access rights will be granted to help tax professionals who protect clients’ returns so no one overwrites returns that are already in progress.
    • Ideal for multi-user firms.
