The IRS’s next Tax Talk Today webcast, “Getting Ready for Filing Season 2009,” which gives tax professionals and preparers the latest updates on tax forms, laws and IRS processing issues for the upcoming filing season, will air Tuesday, Jan. 13, at 2 p.m. EST.
The program will offer tips on how to avoid errors that can cost tax professionals and their clients time and money. Panelists include Nancy Aiello, submission processing director, IRS; Francis X. Degen, EA; Susan A. Hansen, submission processing center field director, IRS; and Theodore Prioleau, EA.
The webcast is free for registered users (new viewers can register here). Two continuing education credits are available for purchase and require no prerequisites or advance preparation.
Tax Talk Today programs may be seen up to 12 months after the original air date on www.taxtalktoday.tv, including the Nov. 4 webcast, “Preparing for the New Form 990,” and the July 8 webcast, “Retirement Plan Pitfalls.” Transcripts, audio podcasts and video recordings also are available for archived programs.
