Marta Zaniewski joined the AICPA as vice president—State Regulatory & Legislative Affairs. In this role, she will lead the AICPA’s efforts to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders on issues that impact the profession, working with state CPA societies, state boards of accountancy, the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy, the Alliance for Responsible Professional Licensing, and state legislative and executive branch officials.
Zaniewski previously served as the assistant vice president for advocacy and external engagement at the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards, as a director of external engagement at the American Institute of Architects, as a Political Action Committee manager for the National Association of REALTORS, and as an appointee in the George W. Bush administration.
