Troy K. Lewis, managing member of Lewis & Associates CPAs LLC and an associate teaching professor of accounting at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, received the Tax Division Distinguished Service Award for outstanding contributions to the division.
The recipient must have made a substantial contribution to the division’s work product through a notable, extraordinary personal effort.
“Troy led AICPA efforts on the new Code Section 199A, chairing the AICPA Qualified Business Income Task Force and testifying on behalf of AICPA before the IRS,” said Gerard H. Schreiber Jr., of Schreiber & Schreiber, who co-presented the award at the AICPA National Tax Conference.
