Jean-Luc Bourdon, principal at BrightPath Wealth Planning LLC, received the AICPA’s 2017 Personal Financial Planning (PFP) Distinguished Service Award.
The award is given annually to a member whose volunteer efforts have made significant contributions to the area of personal financial planning.
Bourdon, who serves as the chair of the Legislative and Regulatory Task Force, began volunteering with the AICPA in 2004. In addition to serving four years on the PFP Executive Committee and working with the PFS Credential Committee to help establish the PFS Exam, Bourdon has served on numerous other committees and task forces, authored several articles for AICPA publications, hosted webcasts, and been a regular conference speaker.
