New feature slated for Google Maps

Have you ever started using Google Maps’s driving (or walking) directions, only to find you immediately started going the wrong way? Google has announced that the next version of the Google Maps app will enable you to aim your smartphone camera out your windshield, so the map’s new Street View recognition technology can identify which direction your automobile needs to turn to immediately put you on the correct course as you start to follow Google’s directions.
