The AICPA’s FVS Section recognized two members as Volunteers of the Year.
Anna Maria Cicirello, senior manager with KPMG’s Forensic Practice in Toronto, is the Forensic and Litigation Services Volunteer of the Year. She has served on the AICPA’s National Accreditation Commission and has served as a member of the AICPA CFF Credential Committee. She helped develop the CFF Credential Exam for Canada, and she has served as an instructor for the AICPA CFF Exam Review Course for four consecutive years.
Michelle Gallagher, who owns and operates Gallagher Valuation & Forensics PLC and is a principal with Gallagher, Flintoff & Klein PLC in Lansing, Mich., is the Business Valuation Volunteer of the Year. She has served as the chair of the AICPA ABV Credential Committee, the ABV Content Specification Outline Task Force, and the ABV Exam Task Force, and she has served on AICPA conference planning committees and as an AICPA ABV Champion for the state of Michigan.
