Scott Sprinkle, co-founder and partner of Sprinkle Financial Consultants LLC and Sprinkle & Associates LLC in Denver, received the AICPA 2016 Personal Financial Planning Distinguished Service Award, which recognizes a member whose volunteer efforts have made significant contributions to the area of personal financial planning.
Sprinkle has been volunteering with the AICPA since 2003. As chair of the AICPA Advanced Personal Financial Planning Conference from 2013—2016, he helped bring high-level speakers to discuss technically advanced content. Sprinkle also served as chair of the 2017 ENGAGE conference and is a regular speaker at AICPA conferences.
As chair of the AICPA Investment Committee, a position he has held since 2015, Sprinkle helped guide the direction of the investments for the AICPA pension fund. He also has contributed to projects including the fiduciary handbooks and the Statements on Responsibilities in Personal Financial Planning Practice.
