Jonathan Horn, CPA, CGMA, who recently became a lead technical manager for the AICPA’s tax staff, received the Tax Division Distinguished Service Award for his extraordinary contributions as a volunteer to the division.
The award recognizes outstanding current contributions to the Tax Division and substantial contribution to the division’s work product through a notable, extraordinary personal effort.
Horn is the immediate past chair of the AICPA Individual and Self-Employed Technical Resource Panel, where he served five years as a member and two years as its chair. He speaks regularly at national professional events and is frequently quoted in the national media.
Before joining the Institute, Horn was a sole practitioner in New York City for nearly 20 years.
