The AICPA and Junior Achievement USA launched an online Accounting Career Guide for teens.
The guide, which combines content from Junior Achievement with resources from the AICPA’s Start Here, Go Places., allows teens to explore the benefits of a career in accounting and the opportunities that earning a CPA license offers.
The guide is free and available to all teens interested in exploring careers in accounting.
The Accounting Career Guide is hosted on Junior Achievement’s JA My Way website and is available at jamyway.org/accounting. The guide contains profiles of nearly 250 CPAs. There is also a FutureMe tool, which asks students a few short questions and then matches them with the accounting role best suited to their interests.
