Awards recognize positive impact on forensics and business valuation

The Institute’s Forensic and Valuation Services (FVS) Section honored with its annual awards section members who have made a positive impact on forensic and valuation practice areas.

Hubert Klein, a partner with EisnerAmper LLP, was named Forensic and Litigation Services Volunteer of the Year. He has been active in the FVS Section and has served on the FVS Executive Committee, Forensic and Litigation Services Fraud Task Force, and the FVS Conference Planning Committee.

Jason MacMorran, a director with P&N Consulting, received the 2014 Business Valuation Volunteer of the Year Award. His experience includes business valuations for estate and gift matters, litigation, mergers and acquisitions, and financial reporting. A member of the Business Valuation (BV) Committee for the past three years, he has chaired the BV Web Site and Statement on Standards for Valuation Services Toolkit task forces.

Sheri Schultz, director of valuation and business support services at Fiske & Co., received the 2014 ABV Champion of the Year Award. The award recognizes a member who has played a leadership role in advancing the Accredited in Business Valuation (ABV) credential and fostering a sense of community among credential holders in their state. She is a member of the ABV Credential Committee and chair of the ABV Champion Program Taskforce.

Elizabeth Woodward, director of the forensic accounting and litigation support team at Dean Dorton Allen Ford PLLC, was named CFF Champion of the Year, recognizing her work promoting the Certified in Financial Forensics (CFF) credential. She serves as a member of the CFF Champion Program Task Force and is active in the Kentucky State Society of CPAs teaching professional ethics.
