Scholarship funds cover conference expenses for emerging CPA

Keith VanHoy, tax partner with Nichols, Stopp & VanHoy LLC, received the 2014 P. Thomas Austin Personal Financial Planning Division Scholarship.

The scholarship is awarded each year to a CPA who has five to 15 years of experience and either practices estate planning or is a member of an estate planning organization.

The Institute established the scholarship in 2010 in honor of Austin, who chaired the Advanced Estate Planning Conference for three decades. It covered the registration fee and travel expenses of an emerging CPA to attend the 2014 Advanced Estate Planning Conference
