Author’s tip: A few years ago I began downloading the product manuals for each new appliance and gadget I purchased, and I keep them in a folder named Product Manuals. For example, I have electronic PDF versions of all of the product manuals for all of my appliances, televisions, stereo equipment, water heater, air conditioning unit, motorcycles, bicycles, and even my Ninja blender. On a few occasions, I simply scanned in a few of the smaller manuals before tossing the paper version into the recycle bin. The result is that I know where all of my product manuals are, and as an added benefit, I can search them electronically and zoom in for improved readability.
