Seeing things from a different perspective

Q: I purchased an Epson EX7220 projector for our training room, and for convenience I set the projector up on the countertop alongside the classroom (as pictured below).

I hoped to use the built-in keystone tools to adjust the screen to the proper rectangular display. Unfortunately, the keystone slide adjustment does not project a perfectly rectangular display. Since you mentioned in a previous article that you have this same projector, do you have any suggestions for displaying the proper image from such an awkward angle?

A: The Epson EX7220 projector offers three keystone adjustment options: the Horizontal Keystone Slider, Keystone Buttons, and Quick Corner. The Quick Corner option, which is offered by many of today’s projectors, allows you to independently position each of the four corners of the display, and then the device’s built-in keystone correction algorithms automatically project the correct image from any angle in the room. To use this feature, from the projector’s main menu, select Settings, Keystone, Quick Corner to display the following screen (shown below).

Next, use the Arrow keys and Enter key on the remote control to select a corner, use the Arrow keys again to position the corner correctly on the screen, and then press Escape. Repeat this process for all four corners, as needed.
