The Institute awarded 10 recipients with the 2012–2013 AICPA/Accountemps Student Scholarship.
The scholarship recognizes accounting majors who aspire to become CPAs, demonstrate academic excellence, and show exceptional leadership. Eligible applicants must have maintained a minimum GPA of 3.0 and completed at least 30 semester hours in college-level coursework, including six semester hours in accounting.
The 2012–2013 recipients were chosen by a task force comprising AICPA and Accountemps representatives. The winners, who were selected from more than 430 applicants, are:
