Robert Chenhall, Ph.D., a professor in the Department of Accounting and Finance at the Clayton campus of Monash University in Victoria, Australia, received the 2012 Lifetime Contribution Award from the Management Accounting Section of the American Accounting Association (AAA).
Sponsored by the AICPA, the award recognizes individuals who have made an important mark on management accounting education, research and practice.
Chenhall is the co-author of the book Reinventing Competitiveness: Achieving Best Practice in Australia, and he publishes regularly in international academic journals. He is currently researching how management accounting systems can be designed to help Australian commercial organizations develop internationally competitive strategies.
