Former Corporate Communications Executive and CNBC Broadcaster Named Director of Media Relations
Gil Nielsen was recently named AICPA director–Media Relations.
Most recently, Nielsen was a member of Synapse PR, a small boutique public relations firm working with clients in multiple industries, including telecom, VoIP, technology and cloud computing software applications, and energy and oil exploration. Before that, he was the vice president of corporate communications for the Newark, N.J.-based IDT Corp., where he oversaw the firm’s media relations and PR functions.
Nielsen spent a significant part of his career as a journalist at major media outlets, including CNBC and Twentieth Century Fox Television, and on several local television news teams.
