Matthew G. Lamoreaux is a JofA senior editor. He oversees coverage of corporate finance, financial reporting and international issues. He has more than 14 years of experience writing and editing for professional publications. He has a B.A. in English and has studied management and economics in the executive MBA program at Elon University.
Gordon G. Andrew is managing partner of Highlander Consulting Inc., a Princeton, N.J.-based consultancy that helps business-to-business product and service firms create and keep customers. He has held senior-level corporate positions at Prudential, Citigroup and the American Stock Exchange. He has also been a marketing and public relations counsel for a broad range of professional services firms over the past 25 years.
Chris Halterman, CPA, is executive director in the Advisory Services practice of Ernst & Young LLP and leads its Advisory Service Organization Controls Reporting practice in the Americas. He is chairman of the AICPA Trust Services/Data Integrity Task Force and led the working group that drafted the AICPA Guide Reporting on Controls at a Service Organization Relevant to Security, Availability, Processing Integrity, Confidentiality, or Privacy (SOC 2).
Dan Schroeder, CPA/CITP, CIA, CISA, CISM, is a partner at Habif, Arogeti & Wynne LLP in Atlanta and the chair of the AICPA’s Information Technology Executive Committee. He is responsible for HA&W’s IT audit and risk advisory services, including service organization control reporting, privacy risk management, data assurance and IT governance.
Nancy A. Cohen, CPA/CITP, CIPP, is a senior technical manager with the AICPA. She is responsible for quality control, research and development for the Specialized Communities & Firm Practice Management Team. She leads the AICPA Privacy Initiative and is the staff liaison to the AICPA/CICA Privacy Task Force, which is developing global privacy standards, criteria and guidance for members.
