Full Screen Ahead
Q: When browsing the Internet, I like to hide my browser’s menu and toolbars by right-clicking on the toolbar and unchecking the various menu and toolbar check boxes. This gives me more room to view the Web page. However, it is a hassle to constantly remove and restore the toolbars. Is there a faster way to hide the browser’s toolbars?
A: There is a better way. In Internet Explorer, Firefox or the Google Chrome browser select View, Full Screen from the browser’s menu, or as a shortcut press the F11 key. Either way this action will hide all toolbars and display the full screen on your monitor. To restore the browser toolbars, press the F11 key again.
Note: There is a catch. Internet Explorer will only allow you to apply the Full Screen setting to one browser window at a time. In other words, if you choose Full Screen in one browser window, you won’t be able to choose Full Screen in another browser window at the same time.
