Outlook: For a fast way to enter future dates and times in Outlook forms, tab to the New Appointment date and time fields, and, if the date is three weeks in the future, go to Start time and type 3 w (with or without a space between 3 and w) and then erase the rest of the date, automatically changing the Start time from Fri 1/1/2010 to Fri 1/22/2010. Use 3 d for days. Oddly, it will not schedule future months.
Office 2007: If the Ribbon takes up valuable space on your screen, you can toggle it off by pressing Ctrl+F1. Press Ctrl+F1 again to re-engage it. Also, right-click on the background of the Ribbon for even more toggling options.
