More than 900 members of Beta Alpha Psi supported by 100 employees from KPMG, recently helped clean up Red Hook Park in New York.
The BAP members were in Brooklyn, N.Y., to attend the organization’s 2009 annual meeting, which kicked off with a Community Service Day. Volunteers helped paint, weed, plant, mulch and remove debris from Red Hook Park, one of the city’s largest parks, which includes 52 acres of athletic fields for track and field and baseball, and a public pool.
KPMG and the KPMG Foundation have helped organize and sponsor the Community Service Day since the event’s inception in 1999.
