The AICPA named four new members to its Auditing Standards Board, which develops auditing, attestation and quality-control standards for nonpublic audit engagements.
The new members are:
- Ernest F. Baugh Jr., national director of professional standards for Mayer Hoffman McCann PC in Chattanooga, Tenn.
- Thomas A. Ratcliffe, director of accounting and auditing for Wilson Price in Montgomery, Ala.
- Mark H. Taylor, the John P. Begley Endowed Chair in Accounting at Creighton University in Omaha, Neb.
- Phil D. Wedemeyer, partner with the national professional standards group of Grant Thornton LLP in Houston.
The new members replace Bob Dohrer, Keith Newton, Pat Piteo and Doug Prawitt.
