Scott Spiegel, CFO for the AICPA, was named 2009 Top CFO in the Financial Services category for the Raleigh-Durham (N.C.) region by Business Leader Media.

Spiegel is responsible for oversight of the AICPA’s Finance team, which includes accounts payable, accounts receivable, contract management and purchasing, credit and collections, payroll, and treasury and compliance. He also served on the team overseeing the AICPA’s relocation to Durham in 2006.

Business Leader Media recognized 45 CFOs in the region in six categories. BDO Seidman LLP, the award sponsor, compiled the final list from nominations.
