On behalf of the Institute, Pamela J. Pecarich, tax executive committee chairman, bestows the profession’s highest tax commendation, the Arthur J. Dixon award, on Byrle M. Abbin, CPA, a nationally recognized expert on estate, gift and trust tax issues. The annual prize honors the memory of a CPA known for his outstanding service to the tax profession and the AICPA tax division.
