Shut down an open window with a single click: Alt+F4.

In Windows Explorer, use F11 to enlarge the view. Toggle F11 to restore the view to its previous size.

To get the most detailed view in Explorer, press Ctrl and the + key in the Number Pad to resize the column width.

To send an e-mail while surfing without opening your e-mail program: In the browser location box, where a Web site URL normally goes, type mailto:. Follow it, without space after the colon, with the e-mail address of your intended recipient. Press Enter and an e-mail composition window will open with the e-mail already addressed for you.
