Robert Mednick, awards committee chairman, presents the AICPA’s Gold Medal for Distinguished Service—its highest award—to Thomas W. Rimerman, former Institute chairman, at the fall council meeting. Rimerman is the U.S. representative to the International Federation of Accountants.
