I thought the author did a good job of summarizing a very broad subject in the article, “Entering the Realm of Investment Services” (JofA, Oct.98).
Knowing the rules, having the right licenses and finding the appropriate back-office support are critical to exploring the niche for investment services.
Also, I believe the Journal should consider publishing more articles on investment services, especially about product-related and investment-risk subjects.
