Companies Look East
A survey of 382 U.S. tax, treasury and finance executives reveals that Asia driven by Chinawill remain the most important region for foreign investment by U.S. companies for the next five years. Sixty percent said recent currency fluctuations would have only a moderate impact on their operations in 1998 while 11% anticipated significant problems from the instability.
