   The AICPA’s Women’s Initiatives Executive Committee created a how-to guide for building an organizational mentoring program. Sharing knowledge and expertise through mentoring is vital to building a connected, communicative workplace because it empowers staff through learning and growth opportunities, according to the guide. The guide also says mentoring can help accounting firms of all sizes develop employees and the organization as a whole, from helping new hires feel welcomed to building staff loyalty and retention.
