Snyder, Pugliese Named Directors


The AICPA recently promoted senior technical managers Lisa A. Snyder and Anthony J. Pugliese to direct the Institutes activities in two key areasethics and the newly designated area of assurance services.

Snyder, as the director of professional ethics, is the Institutes spokesperson on ethics activities. She serves as liaison to the professional ethics executive committee, the independence/behavioral standards subcommittee and the technical standards subcommittee.

Snyder has worked in the ethics division, which is based in the AICPAs New Jersey office, since joining the Institute in 1995.

Pugliese, formerly in the practice-monitoring division, was appointed director of assurance services.

He is serving as the Institutes spokesperson on assurance services and works with the assurance services executive committee and associated task forces.

Pugliese, who joined the Institute in 1997, works in the New York office.
