Shambo Rewarded for PFP Service

James A. Shambo, CPA/PFS, received the Distinguished Service Award at the Personal Financial Planning (PFP) Technical Conference in Las Vegas earlier this year.

Shambo is president of Lifetime Planning Concepts, P.C., and a partner of the CPA firm Sanden, Shambo and Anderson P.C.—both in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Since earning personal financial specialist (PFS) accreditation in 1985, he has worked energetically within the Institute to promote the designation.

He was a member of the PFP executive committee from 1990 to 1996, serving as its chairman from 1993 to 1995. He also served two terms as a member of the PFS subcommittee (19961998).
