The Auditing Standards Board appointed three new members. Robert P. Dohrer is a partner in the national office of audit and accounting of McGladrey & Pullen LLP in Bloomington, Minn.; Patricia P. Piteo is a partner in the accounting and auditing services departments of Cohen & Co. Ltd. and Cohen McCurdy Ltd. in Youngstown, Ohio, and serves as co-technical director of both firms; and Douglas F. Prawitt is a professor of accountancy at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah.
The trustees of the Financial Accounting Foundation appointed four members to the Governmental Accounting Standards Advisory Committee. Thomas Lee is executive director of the State Retirement and Pension System of Maryland; Eric Lupher is director of local affairs for the Citizens Research Council of Michigan; Susan M. Menditto is director of accounting policy for the National Association of College and University Business Officers and G. Robert Smith Jr. is an associate professor of accounting at Middle Tennessee State University.
