The growing number of accountancy organizations that are pursuing the establishment of a global professional business designation now includes France, the second European nation to join the group.
Le Conseil Superieur de l’Ordre des Experts-Comptables, the leading professional association for French accountants, joined the initiative in September. The group represents 18,000 accountants in public practice.
Representatives from Australia, Canada, Italy, New Zealand and the United States already serve on the committee. More information is available at http://globalcredential.aicpa.org .
