The Financial Accounting Foundation, which oversees the FASB and GASB, appointed two new trustees:
- Peter C. Goldmark, Jr., former president of the Rockefeller Foundation, who is currently a director of the Dreyfus Third Century Fund and a member of the Council on Foreign Relations.
- Jim Wadia, who has been with Arthur Andersen for more than 20 years and became worldwide managing partner in September 1997.
The two new trustees replace Kathryn D. Wriston and J. Michael Cook.
